About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

What I liked

I was not a patient but was visiting my Grandma, who has been quite confused by being transferred from hospital to hospital with very poor and often no communication unless we pushed for it (Kingston, St Georges, Molsey). I was really encouraged to find that upon arrival at St Thomas', my Grandma was given a welcome booklet about the ward with most of the questions she would want answered in it. This was such a nice touch and left her and I both feeling reassured. What an excellent idea!

We specifically introduced our welcome booklet to help patients feel comfortable when they arrive - it's good to know that it is proving successful. Thank you.
