What I liked

Both my husband and I have recently had angiograms in the Cardiac Catherisation Suite. I cannot praise the nurses there highly enough - nothing is too much trouble. The ward is spotless, all the staff are very attentive, caring and friendly. Having also recently been a patient at two other hospitals, one in a Private Patient's Ward, the Bedford Hospital nurses stand out by a mile. Thank you all.

What could be improved

I can't think how the experience could have been improved - this feels like being a private patient on the NHS.

There is no place to record feedback for consultants, but my consultant cardiologist has been outstanding. I had previously had a very bad and extremely painful experience under another consultant's care in a different hospital and was therefore unduly terrified of the procedure. My consultant couldn't have been kinder and more reassuring, but he made no false promises, for which I respect him. He later performed an angioplasty and stent insertion at another hospital - again nothing but praise for his manner and competence. This site asks you not to use names but to the consultant - thank you so much.
