What I liked

I had cateract surgery in the Day Surgery Unit at St Cross this week.

I liked the idea that there was a ward with a bed, because it made you feel more confident.

Also I liked the way that the Anaesthetist came to talk to me and the way he dealt with me, and also the Surgeon who came to talk to me at the bedside and explained everything very clearly. They both gave me confidence and had a kind manner.

The nurses were helpful and professional and the whole team seemed to get on well together.

Anything else?

I was impressed by how calm and efficient people were.
