(as the patient),

I came in to A& E to report I had had suicidal thoughts. I was scared and I still get very edgy talking about it because I am so scared that I would do such a thing to myself. The staff at reception took it very seriously.

I was seen by the Urgent Care GP who saw me and worked very hard to make sure I was seen by Psychiatric staff.

I was seen by a Psychiatric nurse who spent 45 minutes with me and decided to further refer me to psyhological services IAPT. I have just received my letter for my GP referral today.
