"The staff and doctors were superb."

About: NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency Tameside General Hospital / Neurology

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was taken seriously ill at the go to doc in Ashton. All the symptoms of a stroke.

The staff and doctors at the call in centre were superb. When the ambulance arrived they took her in to stabilize her (they even took time to put a note on her car windscreen for the parking attendants).

After 15-20 mins they took her to tameside where upon arrival the care and consideration just continued until the symptoms eased. Thankfully it was not a stroke but a hemiplegic migraine. She was kept under close observation overnight.

My thanks go to the whole team for their superb care.
