"I can only give praise to the way I was treated."

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

I had my Gaul bladder removed. I can only give praise to the way I was treated. My only complaint was not again the staff involved, but the ward I was in unless you had a bed by the window in the summer you could get ventilation. My bed was against the windowless wall which at times was airless and uncomfortable. Going back to the staff I can only give a score of 10 out of ten

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear that you were satisfied with your care and treatment. We take on board your comments about the lack of fresh air/ventilation on the ward and will try and ensure there is an opportunity for patients to have a fan if they require one.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you well with your recovery from surgery.

Kindest regards,

The Patient Experience Team
