Having received a letter for a podiatry appointment that clashed with work commitments I called the clinic to rearrange it. I was told the next available appointment was in three months - I was flabbergasted and said they had to be joking. the person made no attempt to look for alternative dates. I asked to speak to a senior member of staff and I was told that someone would call me back.
A senior member of staff did call me back and told me they would not be looking for alternative dates as I had been rude and aggressive towards a member of staff. All I did was express disbelief that no appointments were available for another three months. I asked what he was going to do, their response was nothing.
It left me completely shaken by the whole exchange, very taken aback. I ended the call without making a further appointment - as things stand I have an appointment in November that I cannot go to because of work but I still need treatment sooner than the 3 month alternative offered.
I feel very reluctant to go to this clinic after this exchange, I feel very uncomfortable at the thought of going to that particular clinic.
"very unhelpful trying to rearrange appointment"
