About: Rochdale Infirmary

What I liked

I like the fact the waiting room had a television and was quiet and not a lot of people.

What could be improved

The standard of doctor-patient care.

Anything else?

I wrote a comment on this forum a few years ago which was removed due to the timeline from my stay. I stated in that comment i would never receive treatment again for my illness as my treatment here was diabolical, but they urged me to seek treatment again. I did and regretted it again.

A consultant treated my condition with little concern and refused to give me a scan when i asked, he didn't answer my concerns and brushed them away saying this illness is not serious.

I have since out of sheer frustration asked my GP to refer me to Manchester Saint Mary's.

I have had a scan at my request and my doctor there was glad i did. But unfortunately due to the delaye there may be disastrous consequences as it may be too late to remove the tumour without causing a lot of damage due to it's growth in the time Rochdale ignored my plea.
