"GP consultation"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as a relative),

My elderly mother attended her GP and found the GP to be rude. When she entered the room the GP was standing up waiting for her. My mother informed them why she was there and was shouted at to sit down! They then proceeded to inform her they had no idea what was wrong with her and told her to wait an hour to see a nurse. My mother then asked them whether she could ask them about another ailment. they informed that she had better be quick as they were very busy!

I am very unhappy about the treatment she received and I would hope that this is investigated further.

I have now spoken with Laura and she will contact the relevant gp practise and they will be in contact with me
