"Phone lines jammed"

(as the patient),

Almost every day for almost the whole day the phone lines to call the my GP are constantly engaged. This is extremely infuriating and time costly to us patients who are trying to either simply get a prescription or make an appointment. It is near to impossible to go about your day to day working life and call them, let alone if you are feeling really ill and don't have the strength to constantly press redial on the phone. It is a terrible service and something needs to be done about it!
