"ALL of the staff were brilliant"

About: East Surrey Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

7 years ago I had day surgery on my right shoulder and the experience at East Surrey was not good.

Last week I had similar surgery on my left shoulder.

WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! .

This time the organisation was good, ALL of the staff were brilliant, I was kept informed and all in all I could not fault the care I received.

Dear Pop Pop,

Thank you for such a great review and for noting the improvements that have been made in the intervening years between your two shoulder surgeries. In this time we have built new operating theatres and refurbished existing ones and in June this year our new Surgery Centre was opened.

These improvements are not the whole story, our patients' experience depends on our staff and I know they will be very pleased to hear that you felt they were brilliant and that their care could not be faulted. I will make sure that your appreciation is passed on to them.
