I had my operation in march and was then seen by the oncology/gynocology nurse and was referred to the McMillan Cancer Support and have further appointments for counselling and therapy. I have also been attending rehab classes for the last 8 weeks at the Boswell centre in Auchinleck, Ayrshire. These classes are for heart, stroke and cancer patients an I would recommend them to everyone. Alison(the cardiac nurse), Lesley (physio), Shirley (OT) and Marion (tech instructor) do a fantastic and very worthwhile job. Kelly, a fitness instructor employed by East Ayrshire Council helps out at these classes. I feel so much fitter and well since starting and have asked to be referred to further classes organised by East Ayrshire Council. Thanks to the discussions at the end of the fitness classes I realise I am not alone in the way I was feeling and the benefits of these classes are invaluable. From diagnosis to aftercare I cannot thank NHS Ayrshire and Arran enough
