I was booked in for a Fenton's procedure following child birth. I was very uptight about the procedure especially being put under general anaesthetic for the first time.
The procedure was done in day surgery and from the moment my husband left me in reception to the time I left the nurses were absolutely brilliant! They all had a great sense of humour too which took my mind off the operation and kept me entertained. In particular Lindsay and Sharon cheered me up but all of the lovely ladies in the ward were brilliant and very attentive.
Ruth and Alison continued the humour as I was taken into surgery. It was surprisingly an enjoyable experience, not what I was expecting before I arrived.
They all work so well as a team, everyone was really caring and it was the little things like Lindsay and Ruth coming to see me before their shifts ended to see how I was that really made me feel cared for. Thank you NHS Fife! You should be proud to have such great people working for you.
"The nurses were absolutely brilliant!"
