What I liked

I went into the Day Unit for eye surgery. The staff were friendly from start to finish and they actually listened to the concerns I had and discussed ways of resolving them. I think the best part of the whole experience though was the consultant, and their bedside manner. The care they took was amazing as they came in and talked to me while they were preparing to put me under. Then as I was coming round they were there again talking to me and letting me know how everything went and just generally having a chat. I was given good detailed care advice and after a delay in being seen to after being moved to the recovery area the staff were again attentive and friendly.

The appointments leading to this day and the follow-ups were just as good as staff were quick to see me and everyone was chatty and took the time to ensure I was comfortable with the coming procedure and afterwards that I had no worries.

Anything else?

I would recommend to anyone I know needing treatment to go here as I found the staff friendly, attentive and the state of the wards was clean and tidy. Definitely will return should any other treatment be needed!
