What I liked

Nothing my experience was A & E very dirty no one washed their hands procedures were disgusting second day debri on florr from day before painters filling bucket in sink in cubicle put with builders in lift porter rammed me through doors hurting my elbows, canular left in arm and had to be taken out by own Doctor that evening was u shaped and pain in arm is still there I could write a book on further events that happened over two days

What could be improved

Loads especially hygiene no hand washing done at all

Anything else?

Why I wrote to Torbay and my letter has been completely ignored

We are always concerned to hear that a patient has not had a good experience at Torbay Hospital. We like to work with patients to identify how we can learn from their experience and how services can be improved. We were particularly disappointed to hear that the patient’s letter was ignored. Although this patient’s experience was some time ago, if they would like to contact us through our Patient Advice and Liaison Service we will do our best to investigate the circumstances of their time in hospital and to find out why they did not receive a response to their letter.
