About: Arnold Lodge Regional Secure Unit

(as the patient),

I attended a group with a previous patient who came to talk about his recovery. I learnt many good ideas from him and how to work towards progressing in the future and to work hard in the future and to learn many good ideas in the groups that I do at the moment, which was his suggestion.

There was 6 patients that attended to listen to him talk, We asked him questions and he told how he had progressed.

This was a very interesting and inspiring event. The speaker spoke to two other groups of patients, 15 patient in total. The speaker inspired a lot of hope in his audience and I hope you and the other people who heard him will go on to have happy and productive lives when you leave Arnold Lodge.

This presentation was part of our plan at Arnold Lodge to broaden the scope of the Recovery College and we hope to have more one off events and presentations in the future. I will pass on your thanks to the Recovery College Coordinator for this event.
