I was sent as an emergency from Wigan after initially being refused emergency treatment for a massively raised intra-occular pressure.Taken straight in to A&E and after examination, treatment commenced.
This resulted in my being admitted overnight.
The Doctors and Nurses I came in contact with, could not have been more pleasant or polite.
At every turn I was treated with respect and friendliness.
Nothing was too much trouble and all my questions where answered openly.
Having been in and out of hospital with a cardiac condition over the last 15 years, I can truthfully say, the care I received at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital was second to none.
PS.
I am an ex nurse. Long retired
