"Excellent cardiac care"

About: Hammersmith Hospital

Mum was admitted for her 2 valve replacements and 1 repair (if possible on the day) from day one a few months before the op date all relevant tests were done and the appointment was on schedule. The cardiac team were so caring and knowledgeable and explained everything to us in detail so we understood the procedures mum was having.

As promised they replaced the 2 valves and repaired another leaky valve. The staff in intensive care were truly amazing with aftercare until she was well enough to go to the ward so thank you so much for your excellent teamwork

. Some of The staff in A9 ward were not quite so 'on the ball' but were understandably busy and came if you rang the bell. One general hospital area that could do with a look at is the food!! ......Very school dinner style but the tea was good !!!

Overall we truly recommend the Hammersmith, everyone is so lovely x
