My whole experience throughout has been really excellent!

The referral did take a little time from my GP but once my first appointment was made the care has been brilliant. I met with the same consultant from day 1 and throughout including the operation and the aftercare.

The surgeon and all the staff supporting were polite, friendly and approachable, everything was explained and questions answered. The operation was under local anaesthetic at the hospital in a very relaxed environment, I did not feel anxious at any stage, this was due to the staff being able to ensure I understood what was happening and to ensure I was ok throughout; their sense of humour made the situation very comfortable.

I would advise anyone to have their operation, if they can, at Holme Valley hospital as this has by far been the best medical experience I have had.
