"Nurse helpfulness"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

I attended the Lipid clinic in Outpatients 1 on 7th June and had been on a fasting diet. through no fault of their own the appointment was delayed and because of the length of time of the fast i was passing out with a migraine and was vomiting. All very unpleasant. The nurses looked after me superbly and put me in a private room whilst i recovered. One member of staff was due to go on their lunch but delayed this so they could stay with me until i had recovered and then escorted me a taxi. Thank you so much for the wonderful additional care provided especially as i know how much nurses are already run off their feet dealing with day to day care.
