Tests eventually proved that I had caecal cancer and a right hemicolectomy was performed by a recently appointed consultant surgeon, with a most attentive anaesthetist. The operation was completely successful. The treatment I received was excellent, and the support of the colorectal nurses reassuring and helpful. I am most thankful and impressed by the whole team.
