About: Central Middlesex Hospital

What I liked

At first when I was told that my consultant is operating on my knee at the hospital, I was reluctant. But after staying there for 4 days my fear was taken away. The staff was very helpful in everyway.

Shame you don't see your consultant again until your post op appointment but most of the care is taken over by the nurses and other doctors. The physio dept. was really helpful. The after care was exceptionally good because the physio and the nurses come home to look after you. Its been four weeks now and I am recovereing well. The only down side was that they try to discharge you too quickly. The day I came home, my blood pressure was really high (I don't suffer from high BP) but I was made to leave because they wanted the bed. Apart from that no problems.

What could be improved

Just make sure that the patient is well enough to be discharged

We would like to thank you for your feedback and were pleased to learn that your admission to hospital was on the whole a positive experience. Your kind comments and your concerns in relation to being discharged too soon will be passed on to the staff concerned.
