What I liked
I'm sorry but there is nothing to like about the process of having to wait all day sometimes when a patient has been told early in the morning that they can go home. The joy at being sent home is completely ruined by the fact that they then have to sit most of the day waiting for drugs.
I would be very interested to know why this process takes so long. In my Mother's and brother's case they were told the day before that they would be going home tomorrow, so surely the drugs could have been put together the day before release.
What could be improved
Oviously, the situation would be improved if they could at least be ready by midday or even earlier if possible for the departing patient.
Anything else?
No
