"So lucky to have this kind of service in our community"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a parent/guardian),

Each time my son has had a febrile convulsion I have to thank the ambulance drivers who take us in & the Aberdeen royal children's hospital who looks after my little boy from when we arrive to when we leave. The last time we had a trip in the ambulance the driver (Magnus) can't remember the other one there, they made us feel so at ease taking regular observations, reassuring and cleaning up after my child spewed all over the ambulance. So lucky to have this kind of service in our community.

Dear JJgg8,

Thank you so much for taking the time to get in touch through Care Opinion.

I am sorry to learn of your visits to hospital with your son. It must be a worrying time for your family when these events occur.

It is heartening to hear that the care afforded by our frontline ambulance staff is appreciated and provides some comfort to you all during the journeys to hospital.

Our crews work incredibly hard to provide the very best of care in times of ever increasing demand.

Can you call Aberdeen admin team on 01224 812200, if you are able to provide some further details so we can identify the resource sent to you and identify who was on with Magnus and pass on your welcomed feedback?

Thank you again for getting in touch.

Euan..
