I was referred for hearing loss and tinnitus mostly. I paid for my own tympanogram and audiogram prior to the appointment to speed things along. I saw the consultant and I was in there 60 seconds and did not get a chance to ask a single question. I was just told that, that was the way the consultant was known for their record speed with nhs patients. I ended up coming back for a private consultation with ent at the same hospital to get question's answered. The nhs consultant had not been given any of my notes prior to the appointment. I had to give a 20 second outline of my situation. I have never been ushered in and out of a room quicker in my life. Or explained myself faster in such a short span of time. The building is nice at the hospital. For general amusement during my audiogram there was a concreate road drill outside the window of the room I was in. The audiologist still wanted the audiogram completed despite the concreate drill right next to us even though I couldn't hear a thing lol. Springfield was in their earlier stages of refurbishment back then not so long ago.
