"I wasn't even on the list"

Having been in pain since Christmas and fed up with waiting for an NHS appt to see specialist I decided to pay privately. I saw a consultant who suggested a colonoscopy and was told it would be done the following week and £2100 was taken from my account

 Although they were NEVER going to test me for MRSA, I was truthful on my health form and told them I was waiting for results of MRSA swab. I was told to ring with my results and that unless it was positive the procedure would go ahead.

Just before I took the pre op medication I called Nuffield in Shrewsbury to be told I was never on the list!! had I not phoned I would of taken prep and turned up.
