I was travelling home from work last week when I saw nursing staff heading for a shift change at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. This is not unusual as I am usually headed for home about 7pm. However, this was a very warm day and I saw at least 4 nursing staff (staff nurses and clinical support workers) heading too and from work in full uniform. These uniforms were not covered and one of them was walking a dog.
Can you confirm if this is the usual practice for nurses at GRI or are staff expected to change at work and are changing facilities available? I am concerned that this does not meet infection control standards
