i was referred here as ttts had progressed in my twins.i was in alot of discomfort and had to be driven by my partner as we were given til 5pm that day and only left camb at 1pm to get there, took 31/2hrs as we couldnt find it.when i walked though the door i was welcomed with 'were have you been we've been waiting for you' and rushed into a room.after a scan we were given options of what to do next which was rushed.after making our decision to laser treatment a pen was quickly put in my hand to sign papers then we were left while someone rearranged the room for my treatment though i didnt know that was were i was having it at the time.there were 5 people in the room 2 of them doctors the others did not speak to me.despite apparently been given a local anesthetic i was in alot of pain and no one told me what was happening.i had a nurse? try and put in a needle into my hand to insert a syringe of painkillers but at this point the treatment was nearly over and she never told me what she was doing.at the end of treatment the doctors just left us with a midwife who told me i was lucky as they all normally finish at 5pm.now i knew why the rush.she then told me to get into the wheelchair my partner had to ask to lower the bed seeing that i was having difficulty.i was wheeled to a room so fast my hand was banged against the doors a few times.the next day i was made to walk to the same room and have a scan this i will never forget the doctor told me one of our twins had passed away but his words were 'ok twin one has no heart beat twin two has improved'.i had to ask him if he had said that one of the babies had died and very unsympathically said yes sorry but we knew the risks.me and my partner were very upset but were given no sympathy or time just rushed again to sit in reception and wait for other doctor.i was discharged that morning upset & confused by the evening i had emitted myself into my local hospital.
