What I liked

The care my mother was given in AMU and HDU by the doctors and nurses.

What could be improved

The ITU and HDU waiting room was dirty, and was not cleaned during the week my mother was in HDU.

Anything else?

My mother being told by a locom doctor that if she did not do as she was told she would die. Being told that a mandatory procedure whilst administering drugs had not been followed. That as a "mistake" had been made (my mother died on Mothers day) her death was being reported to the coroner, a post mortem done, an inquest opened and my mothers funeral delayed for nearly three weeks. Not knowing how my mother died and then reading the article on the front of the local paper regarding the Care Quality Commission findings about unnecessary deaths. Just distressing!!
