About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I gave birth to my second baby (a girl this time! ) At Dr Grays at the end of March following an induction. The care I received was excellent and special thanks go to my midwife Lesley who was very good at reassuring and motivating me especially as I suffer from anxiety. I managed to deliver my baby myself without the need for any drugs which I was very pleased about because I had a supportive birth partner and midwife. The post natal care was equally good and I felt supported and confident in caring for my baby with the help of the dedicated and hard working midwives on the ward.

This was my second baby delivered at Dr Grays and both experiences have been very positive. If I have any more children I would definitely like to return to this unit. The staff there do a fantastic job and deserve recognition and congratulations.

Huge congratulations on the birth of your daughter and many thanks for taking the time to send us your feedback which is so positive. It is always so good to hear about how the care and support provided by the midwives and other members of the team can make such a difference.
