"A stay in hospital"

Friend was in hospital for 4 weeks.  She did realy well with the help received from all aspects of excellent nursing staff.  So was doing so well in fact she blocked a much needed bed on a ward.  She was desperate I may add to be discharged and her name was on the list for home care services On the list it remained for longer than she had hoped Other equipment thankfully was in place to assist at home A bed having pride of place in her sitting room So theoretically that amounted to 2 hospital beds being blocked by a single person

85 years old in few weeks time but gratefully very much aware of the world around her As a great supporter of the nhs it made her annoyed to think that another person could be treated using the bed there that her name was above.

She has now returned home with a much waited on care package for which she greatly appreciates.
