"Arranged follow up treatment in a very timely fashion"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / General Surgery Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Respiratory Medicine

(as the patient),

I would like to say how great the specialist doctor of respiratory medicine is (dr Girovani? ? )

He was extremely helpful and cheery and arranged follow up treatment in a very timely fashion, and also the day surgery unit (endoscopy) they were all very polite and helpful, the only complaint I have is the phone ringing at night on wards, you should implement a red beacon to alert the staff of a phone call.

Dear Jordielassis

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us whilst under the care of the respiratory doctors at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. I was so pleased to read how great they were.

We are trying to look at ways to make the wards quieter at night so that patients do get the chance to sleep better, so thank you for your suggestion about the red beacon alert for the telephone which l have passed onto the team at the Royal Infirmary.

I hope that you are well on the road to recovery and thank you again for your lovely feedback.

Kind regards

Jeannette
