What I liked

I was an NHS patient and picked Spire Bushey using the Choose and Book system. Everything about Spire Bushey was wonderful - the staff, the medical care, the food, even the parking. I underwent major surgery and everybody I came into contact with, from the pantry staff to the consultant, was charming and professional at all times. I really felt that I was being looked after and I am sure this aided my recovery enormously. My visitors were treated equally well (the lack of car parking fees was a huge bonus for them). The nursing staff carried out medical procedures as unobtrusively as possible and always took time to answer my questions. My consultant came to see me every day. I had my own room with ensuite facilities. The food was delicious (it was a huge relief when my appetite returned a couple of days after the operation and I could actually eat the things I'd ordered!).

I can't believe just how smoothly everything went from the first referral, through various consultant appointments and scans to the hospital stay and follow-up appointments.

Should the occasion arise, I would definitely choose Spire Bushey again.

What could be improved

I cannot see how anything could have been improved. It was better than textbook.
