"Wonderful, caring staff that helped us with our..."

About: Leeds General Infirmary / Maternity care

In March we came into the hospital to be induced with our second baby. Our first baby sadly passed away in Neo-Natal and so we were nervous about our experience this time around. During our time on maternity assessment we were treated very well, despite it being a long process, we were constantly listened to, the midwives were empathetic and explained everything thoroughly to keep our minds at ease. When we eventually made it onto the delivery suite, we became more nervous, but our nerves soon subsided as the midwives who helped deliver our baby were wonderful! Through each contraction right up until our son was born, we were in a calm, relaxed and reassured environment and it made, what we thought would be terrifying experience, a very happy, emotional moment that we will always look back on fondly.

I cannot praise his hospital and their staff enough. They've managed to rid our fears of having future children and helped us heal very hard memories.

Thank you so much for your patience and compassion.
