"Our mums end of life care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Care of the Elderly (Wards 9-12)

(as a relative),

At a very difficult time for my mum and us as a family ward 9 staff provided excellent nursing, medical and spiritual care. The care and attention shown to my mum allowed mum to end her life with dignity and be as painfree as possible.

When mum passed away we were all in attendance and given opportunity to say goodbye. We were treated with sensitivity and respect.

Dear McAdam family,

So sorry to hear about the passing of your mum, please accept my sincere condolences. I know this will be a very difficult time for your family and thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I was comforted to read your feedback and will make sure that this is shared with the team in Ward 9.

If we can be of any further support to your family over the coming months, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kindest Regards

Gillian
