I was referred to the Complex Depression and Anxiety Service after another form of therapy did not help me become better. I have been under their care for 7 months now and am just about to be discharged from the service. My peer trainer Debbie has helped me most with 1 to 1 meetings and my biggest turning point was when I agreed to do ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). I never wanted to do any groups but I am glad I did as it was a changing point in my life for me. Now I am seeing an employment specialist and volunteering with Imagine and MSCV befriender service. Being under their care I got worse before I got better but am so happy to be alive and am hopeful for the future.
