(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I cannot thank enough Nurse Diane for advising me to go to A&E for IV antibiotics for an infected leg ulcer. I was at first angry but on reflection and listening to the Doctors at Kings Mill Hospital that stated to me if I hadn't done as advised I would have had to have an above knee amputation due to the severity of the infection if let another week. I had a scan and the infection was touching the bone. My treatment prevented the severity of the infection.
