"My faith whilst in hospital"

About: St Andrew's Healthcare

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My faith is kept alive by talking to my family and seeing the chaplains.

Whilst being in St Andrews Healthcare, my faith in God has grown. This has been through chatting and praying with chaplains, along with listening to music. One particular song which I like is Good Good Father which empowers me and makes me feel good.

I like the Songs of Peace service which is held by chaplaincy. They are friendly people, nice to chat to and help me to relax.

Hello

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your faith and how this helps you. The chaplins are aware of your comments and also thank you for this. You remind us of how important family is for you. You also point out the value of music and how helpful this can be. Arts@standrews are keen to make contact with patients who have an interest in music, so if this is something that would interest you, please let your care team know so they can contact them on your behalf. I will also pass your feedback to the arts@standrews team.

With best wishes

Sophia
