What could be improved
I was referred to save a tooth that had a post-crown that had become infected. The hospital dentist did not seem to focus on saving my tooth instead choosing to focus on the potential loss of my tooth. Even then he suggested that I might be happy to leave a gap in my mouth afterwards - would he have treated his own family in this way? This has really upset me. I do not believe that he will try to save the tooth at all.
There is a possibility that i could be referred to another dentist. All the time my condition could be getting worse thus making the loss of my tooth more probable. This is not what I expected from the NHS that I help to fund.
