"What a relief"

About: Western General Hospital (Edinburgh)

(as a relative),

Sitting in the car at 1am having left my Dad in the excellent hands of the staff in ARU

The nursing skill, knowledge and care was to the point, efficient, carried out in a respectful manner. Medical staff gave clear information in a way we understood.

I've left my Dad who is 79 years old feeling confident he is already feeling better

2 drips, 2 antibiotics, and being rehydrated.

Phew what a relief

Thank you so much

Dear GPW

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback about your Dad's admission to the Acute Receiving Unit at the Western General Hospital last week. It must have been a relief for you knowing the medical and nursing staff were caring for him in a way that he was already feeling better having spoken with the medical staff at the time.

I have shared your feedback with the team, who I am sure will be delighted with your kind words and I hope your dad is well on the road to recovery.

Thank you again.

Kind regards

Jeannette
