What I liked

Over a few years my family and I have had some contact with St Marks. They have x-rayed us, taken our blood, we have used specialist clinics and out of hours GP services there, and three of us have attended their physiotherapy department (excellent). An elderly relative has also had several weeks stay at the hospital when recovering from a fall. We have always found the staff courteous and professional, and we have recieved a high standard of service. We are pleased to have this resource within walking distance from our home.

What could be improved

Introduction of parking charges caught us by surprise and we had no change and parked in the road outside, not good when transporting someone who is ill. We try and walk or cycle but we now end up having to pay if one of us is ill and needs to be transported there. I think the parking charges should be scrapped.
