(as a relative),

My partner became very unwell over night. I phoned my GP (College Way surgery Taunton Somerset) surgery at 8. 30 in January 2017, the receptionist without question arranged an appointment for 9. 00 that morning. We were seen by Dr Tuff, who swiftly arranged hospital admission. We were admitted within 30 mins to Musgrove Park Hospital Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC). He was assessed diagnosed with sepsis. He was later transferred to Acute Medical Unit (AMU)where the care & attention he received from medical, staff nurses Health Care Assistant & ward assistants in both areas were outstanding. Many thanks to primary care, Sisters  Carr & Sister Thorne.

Dear Mitsie, I am very sorry to read that your partner has been unwell but I am pleased that your GP surgery was able to quickly arrange for him to be admitted to our hospital for treatment. This was no doubt a very worrying time for you both. Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to write that you found all the staff who cared for your partner were outstanding.
