"My voice is back to normal"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Speech and language therapy for adults

(as the patient),

I lost full use of my voice for 8 months from April 2016. It caused me to lose confidence and have social anxiety. I am a personal trainer and it meant I couldn't encourage my clients and made me sound unhealthy. I stopped phoning my Family as I hated talking on the phone and it made me depressed. I went to Beckenham Beacon speech therapist Juliet and she gave me loads of exercises to help and within 2 days it was better. By the end of 2 months it is back to normal and I now have techniques to control my anxiety.
