(as a friend),

I accompanied a friend whose ear needed attention.

The waiting area was full. The Wales Italy match was on TV.

We were attended to within an hour. The attention was excellent.....I wish I could remember the nurse's name, she usually worked in Ebbw vale hospital.

She was warm, friendly, efficient, and reassuring whilst arranging with Morriston hospital to have treatment there.

I have visited the AnE department 2 or 3 times over the years and each time has been a positive experience.

The patient concerned had to visit the plastic surgery and burns department last Monday to have stitches removed. Again she experienced pleasing attention and treatment and showed her appreciation to the staff on Pembroke Ward.
