All depends on the staff you get and I guess how busy they are. Our experience so far is that A204 was short and direct and busy just doing a job. (There is a need for a geriatric ward separate from A&E, this would alleviate some pressure). While all the nurses obviously care they do not all have the ability or the time to express that. While A207 was still cluttered with geriatrics the staffs are very good and seem to have a little more time and compassion. Been moved today, so far so good.
Just remember it is free at the point of need, and mostly very good.
Let’s not complain, lets be constructive, lets help if we can. Don’t demoralise or inflate these are only people doing the best job the only way they know,
Let them know when it’s wrong and be thankful and courteous when they get it right.
"great people doing a very difficult job"
