(as a parent/guardian),

My 9 year old daughter has attended gastroenterology clinics for a number of years now and I cannot express my gratitude to all the IBD nurses. They have always been extremely helpful and supportive to not only my daughter but the whole family! !

They all work extremely hard and give an excellent level of care.

They have made some tough times and decisions easier by listening and talking to my daughter putting her mind at ease (and mine! ! )

They really go above and beyond in their work.

It is lovely to hear your feedback regarding the care and support provided to your daughter and your family by the IBD nursing team.

As you say they are all very hardworking and seek to provide an excellent level of care and support to all the patients and families that they look after. Your comments demonstrate that they are clearly achieving this. As you highlight, it is so important that care and support is extended to the whole family as well as the child when dealing with ongoing and often distressing health issues.

Our General Manager and Chief Nurse will be delighted to pass on your thoughtful feedback to all of the IBD nursing team and I know they will be delighted to hear this.

I do hope your daughter is keeping well at this time and continues to do so.
