"Great service"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Day Surgery University Hospital Hairmyres / Pre Operative Assessment University Hospital Hairmyres / Radiology University Hospital Hairmyres / Trauma & Orthopaedics (Wards 1 & 5)

(as the patient),

In November I had minor surgery done to my knee. The care and attention I received was wonderful. My journey in Hairmyres Hospital started at the Orthopaedic Clinic. I then had an MRI scan, was then seen by pre-assessment and the ECG department in preparation for day surgery the following week.

The Day Surgery involved me being looked after by Day Surgery staff, Theatre staff and Recovery Staff. The care from everyone was excellent and continued during my recovery as I had to attend physiotherapy which was in Hamilton. Thankyou to all the staff who were involved for the great care and making me feel safe. Keep up the good work.

Hi Ruth

Thankyou for your response. I would really appreciate it if you could feed back to the Physiotherapy dept. The physiotherapist was Julie. She was very supportive, caring, informative and professional in her manner. I honestly could not fault her in any way.

My regards to you and your team.
