"You were my hero on several occasions"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Audiology Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as the patient),

Hi I've been a patient at the ENT and audiology department since I was a child I'm now hitting 50 this year, I've always had great service from doctors nurses audio staff.

I especially liked Paul who knew my hearing needs down to a T. I went in today to see if I could make an appointment with him or Dawn another great lady to be told poor Paul had passed away.

I'm so shocked at this, what a true gent he was. My heart goes out to his wife and family. RIP Paul you were my hero on numerous occasions. God bless you xx

Dear Katziab

Thank you for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion.

I am pleased to read that you have had a great service from the staff within ENT and the Audiology Department.

It is heartening to read your comments about Paul. Paul was a valued member of staff who frequently went ‘above and beyond for his patients’. I know that he is greatly missed by the staff and his patients.

I have forwarded your post to the General Manager for the service and asked for your kind words to be shared with the staff on your behalf.

Kind Regards

Nicole
