"Fruit Boxes would be better at Supper"

About: St Andrew's Healthcare Birmingham / Northfield

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Instead of having cereals at supper time we should have a fruit box with all different fruit. We could even have stewed fruit which is a very good idea. A lot of patients are eating sugary cereals at suppertime which is really bad for you. Can you consider looking fruit boxes, I have said fruit boxes as bags are not allowed here.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the food provided, and to encourage healthy eating. I am planning to meeting with our catering staff and will bring this issue up. It would also be good to raise it at the Food Forum, and the ward community meeting. I will be in attendance at the community meeting in the next couple of weeks.
