About: University Hospital Wishaw / X-rays and Scans

(as the patient),

I was sent by my gp for xrays on my hips and legs and I have waited for two weeks to hear the phrase "it's wear and tear", like I am a child being rubbed on the head and being asked not come back.

I haven't seen the xrays, I don't know what's happening inside my body. I have no help going forward. no advice, no direction.

quite a thing to have to deal with when you suffer from depression and believe everyone is against you anyway

Dear bluecollarman

Thank you for your post on Patient Opinion - however I was sorry to read about your recent experience with your GP. I can understand why you would feel frustrated.

If you would like me to pass on your concerns to the practice manager of your GP practice to allow them to explore what help and support is available to you, I'd be more than happy to assist. You can contact me directly on 01698 858 292 or via email kathryn.ferguson@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk

Kind regards

Kathryn
